On June 6, the author learned from the latest inspection and inspection of import and export commodities in 2014 issued by Guangdong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. Recently, 527 batches of import and export products were inspected by the inspection and Quarantine Bureau. The results showed that 259 batches of unqualified products were unqualified, and the unqualified rate was 49.16%. Among them, 452 batches of imported products were inspected, 212 batches were unqualified, and the unqualified rate was 46.9%. It is reported that the spot check of the goods involved wood flooring, wipes, car child safety seats, batteries, clothing, medical ventilators, light sources, household appliances and so on.
The author learned from the notice that a total of 5 batches of imported car child safety seats were randomly selected, and 5 batches were unqualified, with a disqualification rate of 100%. The countries involved included France and the Netherlands, and all the products had European E-MARK certification, among which the most critical safety item dynamic test items were unqualified in 4 batches. The causes of disqualification include serious damage to the seat and separation of the body from the base. This shows that the seat can not effectively bind children, and children may crash into other hard car parts outside the safe space in case of traffic accident, which may cause injury. Experts pointed out that the quality and safety situation of imported child safety seats is not optimistic, and the product quality is far below the expectations of consumers and regulatory authorities.
The quality of imported clothing is also worrying. According to reports, a total of 273 batches of import and export textile and clothing products were randomly inspected, and 87 batches were found unqualified, with a failure rate of 31.9%. Unqualified items mainly involve color fastness, pH value, formaldehyde, fiber content, identification, safety of small parts, etc. Among them, the problems found in spot check include Adidas, KOOKAI, UNIQLO, H & M, etc.
In addition, the unqualified rate of imported toilet paper products is also very high. A total of 117 batches of disposable sanitary products such as wipes were randomly selected, and 74 batches were found to be unqualified, with the unqualified rate of 63.2%. Among them, 71 batches were unqualified for the identification or instructions for use, and 3 batches were for the total bacterial colonies, total fungal colonies, appearance and qualification certificates.
In view of the spot check inspection, the Guangdong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau said that the Department had issued the "qualified notice" or "non conformity notice" to the enterprise in accordance with the relevant provisions of China. At the same time, for the export of non-conforming products for spot check inspection, we conducted quality interviews with the export enterprises, required the enterprises to rectify and track the rectification situation, so as to eliminate the hidden dangers of quality and safety; for the imported unqualified products purchased in the market, all these products were required to be removed from the shelves, and the sales malls with more unqualified batches were interviewed for quality, and the rectification report was required to be submitted.
